New Map Review Process to Begin March 14, 2010

Beginning on Sunday, March 14, 2010, the {cDS} server will run map review of potential maps from Noon until 3 PM EST.  During that period of time, ONLY potential maps will be played.  Our Rate Map feature will be used to determine if a map is going to stay on the server permanently.  If you have previously participated in the map review process, we will no longer follow those guidelines.  This will be full map play.

If you are a map maker and would like to have your map considered for a spot on the server, it must be Gun Game compatible, have 32 spawn points, no use of photos or textures that are against the {cDS} rules as shown on our MOTD, and be sent to Blue Ape no later than Thursday at 6 PM EST prior to that Sunday's review.

We hope you take the opportunity to join us every other Sunday for this feature.  Your opinion is important to us!

The chances of my ping cooperating midday on the wekend is slim to none, but I will try to get on for the inaugural run of the new process.

SOUNDS INTERESTING AS IT WIL GIVE MORE INPUT AS TO WHAT PEOPLE THINK. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL MAKE PEOPLE HAVE TO PLAY MORE THAN 1 OR 2 ROUNDS BEFORE BICHING THEY DONT LIKE MAP AND GIVE THEM CHANCE TO LEARN NEW MAPS.  I WAS ALSO THINKING IF MAYBE THERE WAS A WAY TO MAKE A COUPLE OF MAP LISTS THAT COULD BE SWITHCED EVERY SO MANY DAYS OR SO THAT WAY MAPS THAT ARE LIKE THE SAME COULD BE SPLIT UP AND PLAYED DIFF DAYS. AND HOPEFULLY PEOPLE WONT COMPLAIN ABOUT SAME MAPS BEING PLAYED AND MAPS THAT ARE BASICALLY THE SAME CAN BE SPLIT UP. JUST A THOUGHT.

It's sad that people complain when there is a votemap feature already in place...

This isn't a clan-only trial run is it? If not, I'll try to get in on the fun.
